Labour Room Experience Part 3

Bismillahirahmanirrahim

At 8 pm, the progress remains slow as cervix dilates to 4 cm still. Due to that, the Gynea had proposed me two options. Option no. 1 was to go for Caesar operation while option no. 2 was to wait for another 4 hours for natural baby birth.

Disebabkan dah tak tahan nak menunggu lagi 4 jam, saya jawab kat Gynea "operate". My hubby and my mother was there, in the labour room too. Nak tunggu 5 minit tu macam 15 minit. Siap tanya Mak lagi, dah ke belum. In fact, my hubby told me that they really made it within 5 minutes, on time. I'm not sure which doctor.

Bukan sebarang cucuk ye. I had to bend over my body. Can you imagine of doing that while feeling the extreme pain of contraction and plus, you have a big tummy. Susah tau. Tapi, nurse kat situ pandai. Dia bagi bantal untuk saya peluk dengan cara dua-dua tangan atas bantal (bukan peluk bantal yang tangan kat kiri kanan tu ye) and she hugged me kuat-kuat. Alhamdulillah, masa jarum masuk tu tak rasa sakit sangat.

Tak lama lepas doktor mulakan kerja pembedahan tu,  I fell asleep. Letih kot. Sepatutnya, epidural tu bius separuh je. Bila saya terjaga nampak doktor dan nurse tengah tepuk-tepuk punggung baby. I smiled. Then, tertidur lagi. Tak lama lepas tu nurse kejutkan, she brought my baby near to me and let me kiss my baby. Erm, bau syurga. Alhamdulillah.

In the other entry, I will share the reason why I chose Hospital Pantai Klang for baby birth.

This is my son. Our baby A.D, in his papa's arm.
